Season's Greetings! - Snow & Ice Reminders

Individuals are responsible for clearing any snow from and around their cars - without dumping it in the roadway or on your neighbors' cars or parking spaces. Keep all roadways and sidewalks clear and do not block fire hydrants or mailboxes, or damage trees.
Home occupants are responsible for promptly clearing the sidewalk in front of their property and treating it for ice - we do not have a contract for clearing sidewalks (and never have).

 Regular trash pickup on Mondays and Thursdays, recycling on Wednesdays
Christmas and New Years day are on consecutive Wednesdays (recycling days)  - recycling will be delayed until January 8

​Members are responsible for ensuring that all residents of their property and their visitors abide by LRMHA guidelines and rules.  
Damage caused by guests to any community property of LRMHA are the responsibility of the homeowner.
Contractors seeking to do business in our community should familiarize themselves with our ARB Guidelines and  approved paint and stain colors so they do not promote designs, finishes and materials that do not conform with our established requirements.  Homeowners themselves must personally make and manage all arrangements and arrange for all Board approvals through Northern Virginia Management.  The Board does not deal with owners' contractors or agents, only members.

  • Guidance documents and regulations
     All work on the exterior of homes, structures such as sheds and decks, and structural yard improvements and decorations must be submitted to the ARB for approval.  Board approval is not required solely for major alterations, but must also be obtained prior to selecting the paint color, materials or other items on the exterior of the home.

All meetings start at 7 PM and are held online unless listed otherwise.

The Board will handle urgent business via email and telephone conferencing.
NVM is monitoring email but offices are closed until futher notice.
LRMHA Board meetings and all committee meetings are open to observation by members of the association (except for executive sessions and confidential matters).  Observers may be given time to address the Board upon request.

Contacting the Boards:   Requests and inquiries directed to the Boards must be submitted by a homeowner member of the Association or be in response to an inquiry from a Board member.  Requests submitted by residents who are nonmembers or by contractors on behalf of individual residents or homeowners will not be responded to as they are outside of the scope of the association Board members' responsibilities.  
ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS PUBLISHED 8/26/2020 ARE IN EFFECT

All external modifications, repairs and painting (including choice of color) must be approved by the ARB.
